Harley-Davidson Hire Rates


WHAT YOU MUST PROVIDE WHEN HIRING

Local License Holders –
- Your valid (current) motorcycle riders license, from an Australian issuing authority
- Your credit card – Visa, MasterCard with the capacity of at least AUD $2500.

Overseas License Holders –
- Your passport
- Your valid (current) motorcycle riders license from your home country
- Your international motorcycle riders permit
- Your credit card – Visa, MasterCard with the capacity of at least AUD $2500.

HIRE RATES

All Prices are $AUD and include GST

The same hire rate applies, irrespective of the model hired.

Day Hire = $250 / day
A day is from 4:00 PM the day before to 4:00 PM the day of hire. Extended hours to a single day hire can be arranged on an hourly rate. After 5 hours the daily rate will aply.

Weekend Hire = $500 / weekend
A weekend is from 3:00 PM Friday to 10:00 AM on the Monday.

Week Hire = $1750 / week
A week is seven (7) consecutive days which can be inclusive of statutory holidays.

Extended Hire = $1500 / week
Hire for more than 2 weeks is considered extended hire. On extended rentals, renter must agree to have the motorcycle serviced at a dealer outlet to be nominated by the hirer, at the hirer’s cost.

Clothing Hire
All our clothing is specifically designed for motorcycle riding and our helmets meet the appropriate Australia design standards. We do however, recommend using your own equipment for comfort and safety.

Included in the above prices
- Helmet, Gloves and Jacket
- Unlimited kilometers
- All local taxes, including GST
- Free airport pickup for rentals of more than 1 week’s hire
- Security “U” locks
- Tourist maps and friendly advice

Not Included in the above prices
- Parking fines, traffic infringements such as speeding fines etc. and other statutory penalties. In addition to the cost of the fine, which is to be paid by the hirer, a $50 processing fee will apply for the handling of unpaid fines.
- Fuel – for all motorcycles returned with less than a full tank a filling fee of $20 will be applied.
- Car parking

DEPOSIT

All motorcycle hire must be secured by a $2500 deposit charged to an accepted credit card, e.g. Visa, MasterCard or Bankcard only.
Insurance
An excess of $2500 applies to all motorcycle Comprehensive Insurance Cover.
Any breach of the rental contract terms voids ALL insurance and the renter is liable for ALL damage.

INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER

- rider for bodily injury or damage/loss of personal belongings. We recommend supplementary travel insurance.
- loss of rental caused by extensive damage to the motorcycle rendering it unavailable for hire.

Comprehensive Cover includes : damage to and/or theft of motorcycle; third party injury; and third party property. Renter is responsible for excess amount, PLUS ALL damage to the motorcycle.

Third Party Cover includes : third party injury and third party property BUT DOES NOT cover motorcycle. Renter is liable for excess amount PLUS ALL damage to the motorcycle.

CANCELLATIONS

Once booked, a 20% deposit is lost for all cancellations except where cancellation insurance is purchased.

Cancellation Insurance
Booking insurance can be arranged to enable you to transfer your booking to another date, not more than 30 days from the original booking date, without losing your booking fee.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING INSURANCE

- insurance premium is 10% of the total rental price (minimum $20)
- insurance premium is paid in advance when the booking is made and the deposit is paid
- insurance can only be used once

VALET PICKUP AND DELIVERY

Special pickup and delivery can be arranged at Sydney Airport or hotels / motels within the greater Sydney area, e.g. 50 Kms from the Town Hall.
A charge of $80 will apply for Valet Service for all rental of less than a week.

ONE WAY RENTAL

Motorcycles can be dropped off and/or picked up from any major destination in Australia.
All transportation costs are the responsibility of the renter. One way rental must be advised at the time of booking. As an example, the one-way rental fee from Melbourne and Brisbane to Sydney is $250 per motorcycle. For other destinations please request a quotation.
